  1. The Remove Broadband Noise effect removes any frequencies whose amplitude is lower than the set threshold value.
  2. The threshold value can be chosen either relative to the maximum amplitude of all frequency bands or absolute, as a fixed value.

  4. This is quite effective as a noise reduction system for broadband noise.

  6. However, you can also achieve weird effects (especially on speech) by selecting a higher threshold.
